Rev. Edward Salmon, S.J., is in his second stint at McQuaid Jesuit, having served as a faculty member and superior of the Jesuit Community from 2002-07. Fr. Salmon returned to McQuaid as president, serving in that role through the 2013-14 academic year. Under his leadership, student enrollment increased, the sixth grade opened, financial aid grew, six additional classrooms were built, and the cafeteria was renovated. In 2014, Fr. Salmon assumed the role of chancellor. In addition, he assists with Mass at the Cathedral and is actively involved in the Rochester Diocese.
In recognition of Fr. Salmon's 80th birthday and all he has and continues to do for the school, we invite you to join us for a special Mass and reception Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the Fr. Edward Salmon, S.J. Chapel on the campus.
There is no cost to attend but we ask that you please RSVP so we may plan the dessert reception accordingly.
