Mr. Simkins came to McQuaid from California by way of Tennessee. To explain, Mr. Simkins was born and raised in
California. He received his Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of California in 1987. He spent several years teaching in California before moving to Tennesse to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science from the
University of Tennessee.
Mr. Simkins began working at McQuaid in 2003. He currently holds the positions of teacher
and webmaster. Mr. Simkins teaches Advanced HTML programming, Animations, Image Editing and Two Dimensional Design and Drawing. He is also the moderator for
McQuaid's Middle School Messenger and Computer Club.
