Weather Station

Since 2002, McQuaid Jesuit has supported the Automated Weather Service (now part of Homeland Security) with its rooftop weather station.  Regularly featured on 10NBC, our station is one of over 8,000 participating sites.

The weather station provides our Earth Science students with valuable real-world atmospheric data and statistics for use in classroom activities.  Current and archived data is also used in meteorology units.
