Visual Arts
Visual Art at McQuaid Jesuit is a rigorous academic program offering a full range of courses. From the student with a casual interest to the student striving for a career in the Visual Arts, there is something for everyone. Course offerings include Drawing, Painting, Three Dimensional Design, Sequential Art and Digital Art.
McQuaid students regularly win awards in the Scholastic Art Awards competition. They are also actively engaged in exhibiting their work in the community and at school. Exhibition venues have included, Rochester Institute of Technology, New Hampshire Institute of Art, Rochester International Airport and the Daniel Ward Salon.
Students are encouraged to explore the boundaries of their imaginations, creativity and problem solving skills. In pursuit of Cura Personalis, the Visual Arts program challenges students to exceed their own aesthetic expectations and prepare themselves for a world where creative thinking is essential.
