Sophomore Home Page: New Testament and Church History

Welcome to the Sophomore Religion Home Page at McQuaid Jesuit in Rochester, New York.

The course explores the New Testament in the first semester and Catholic Church history in the second.

This website is designed to supplement the course material for Mr. Kilbridge's class. It contains handouts given in class, as well as additional material, including extra credit assignments and links to other websites.

The Navigation Bar at the top and bottom of each page will lead you to the various teaching units developed for the year. The button labeled "Sophomore Assignments" includes reading assignments and marking period projects for Mr. Kilbridge's classes. The next four ("New Testament Background" through "Apostolic Period") are related to material covered in the first semester. The last six ("Roman Empire" to "20th Century") are related to material covered in the second semester.

The various unit pages will contain a variety of materials including review sheets, assignments, primary texts, images, extra credit assignments, relevant passages from your history textbook, and relevant web links. Use the table of contents on each unit page to jump to the relevant section.
