FROM EAST – Take Thruway Exit 45 (Eastern Suburbs). Follow 490 West to Rochester outskirts (about 10 miles) past Linden Ave. exit, keep to right for “590”, exit 21. The exit ramp has two lanes; Take left lane for “590 South.” Take 590 South to Elmwood Ave. exit, about a mile. Right on Elmwood and about 3 ½ miles to an underpass. Univ. of Rochester will be on right. (you’ll pass Strong Memorial Hospital on your left.) Turn right just past underpass, then another right in about 50 yards. Then take first right across underpass bridge into a large U. of R. parking area. Go to the far end of that area, from where you will have a short walk to the meet site.
NOTE: If you are coming to the park on Friday, it’s easier to take Exit 46 from Thruway, get on “390 North” and follow “South” directions below.
FROM SOUTH – Take 390 into Rochester suburbs. After Exit 14, keep to left and take left fork marked “390 North, Airport.” You’ll exit in about ¼ mile at Exit 16 (East and West Henrietta Rds.) At top of ramp, go straight ahead and follow West Henrietta Rd. ramp, which forks to the right. At West Henrietta Rd. light, go straight ahead (That’s where River Rd. begins) about a ½ mile to the park. Once in the park, you’ll have to drop off runners and proceed to parking areas 1 or 1-A.
FROM WEST – Via Thruway, take Exit 47 and follow 490 East about 15 miles to “390 South, Airport.” Go past airport on 390 and cross Genesee River. Then take Exit 16-A (River Rd.) Exit ramp will fork. Take sharp right fork for River Rd. and follow a short distance to the park on your right. Once in park, you’ll drop off runners and proceed to parking areas 1 or 1-A.
Via Ridge Rd., take 390 South and follow as above.
FROM EAST – Take Thruway Exit 46 and follow 390 North signs. In about 3 miles, keep left and take left fork marked “390 North Airport”. Take first exit (#16) . At top of exit ramp, turn right and go about ¼ mile to first light (Westfall Rd.) Right on Westfall Rd. about ¾ mile to first light (Clinton Ave.) Left on Clinton Ave. and follow about ½ mile to school on right.
FROM SOUTH – Same as for East, once you’re on 390 North.
FROM WEST – Via Thruway, exactly the same as for East.
