Kennings
Kennings is the art and literary magazine. Published
once a year, it contains the best literature, art and
photography McQuaid students offer. Any student in the
school can submit his material to the Kennings staff.
The staff is responsible for soliciting
material from the student body, selecting the finest
representative work, and laying out the magazine.
Meetings: Meetings are held once every other
week during the fall. And once a week in the Spring.
Editors and layout people are expected to work several
hours a week during the layout process in March and
April.

Achievements
The 2003 Kennings won the Gold-All New York medal
from the Empire State Scholastic Press Association,
the third year in a row
The 2001 Kennings was named the Most Improved Publication
from the ESSPA . Over the past five years, individual
contributors have garnered numerous gold, silver and
bronze awards at the state competition.
