Endowment Funding

Our total endowment funds presently exceed $6,000,000. The endowment is funded in the following ways:

  • Through capital campaigns;
  • From unrestricted and restricted gifts including those received through planned giving gifts.

Given the fact that McQuaid is approaching celebrating its first jubilee class in 2008 (i.e. the first 50th year class), we are planning on further promotion and development of the Gift Planning Program to assist in advancing and accelerating the growth of the endowment. This will be essential in helping to insure the long-term viability of McQuaid and to assist in our attempt to keep tuition affordable.

Following its Ignatian tradition, McQuaid also has formulated objectives as part of the strategic plan to be accessible to all qualified students able to benefit from a Jesuit education, regardless of their ability to pay. In order to make this happen, McQuaid needs to build a growing endowment that sustains the school and helps secure its future.
