2. ANNOUNCEMENTS, REPORTS, NEW ISSUES

Announcements:

  •

Reports:

Registration (Gr. 7) (Gr. 9) Carla Wurster

These meetings were held and proved successful. Parents’ Association provided refreshments for the two dates. This will continue next year also. We may need to make different accommodations for baking for some of the other events, due to 6 events that were held in February alone.

New issues:

  • Parent Volunteer forms deadlines – A deadline for Parent Volunteer forms will be introduced this year. The Deadline date is yet to be agreed and announced. This will allow the chairs of the events to obtain their volunteer listing quicker, and allow us to see if there are any holes to fill early in the year.
  • Christian Service program - needs volunteers to manage updating the program. We are looking to develop new opportunities which will encourage our boys to volunteer for fresh programs which will stimulate their growth and give them material on which to report positively. Volunteers to contact Bev Shaheen, Christopher Hood (chood@mcquaid.org – 585-256-6169) or Karen Palermo.

We have enough food donations and are now accepting monetary donations to offset the cost of the supplies. Teachers & staff really look forward to this event.
