Evenings
Ignatian
Evenings 2006-2007: McQuaid Jesuit parents are invited
to participate in the third annual Ignatian Evening series,
sponsored by the McQuaid Jesuit Parents' Association. The
evenings are intended to help parents understand the "Jesuit"
nature of McQuaid Jesuit by focusing on some of the major themes
in the life and spirituality of Saint Ignatius Loyola, the founder
of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits). They are ultimately intended
to help parents make connections to their sons' unique
experience of their "Jesuit" education at McQuaid.
Previous knowledge and experience are not required to participate
fully.
Meeting Dates:
All gatherings take place in the Jesuit Residence, beginning
at 7:30 PM and ending at 9:00 PM. The Morning of Reflection
will begin with coffee at 9:00 AM and will conclude with Mass at
11:00 AM.
Meeting dates to be announced later.
Homework? To complement our work together, we will read the book, Lessons from Ignatius Loyola together. While there are no quizzes involved ... and no report cards ... it is a helpful resource, nonetheless. Copies are available in the McQ bookstore. Please contact Mrs. Peg Ansaldi, P'06, for more information: email or 585-256-6180.
Day of Renewal: The Alumni Association is sponsoring a Day of Renewal for all members of the McQuaid Jesuit community. Visit the alumni section of this website for more information.
For more information, please read more
